I chose to make a clock because it was the one thing that made sense to make with my fortune cookie quote. I tried to go with the older kind of theme of a clock, and thats why I was looking at that website. Even though my clock don't look like their clocks, I feel like my project still has that older feel to it.
My biggest problem with this project was that I changed my mind on what to do like five times. Knew that i wanted to do a clock, just didn't really know for sure how to yet. I eventually just started taking ild looking things and put them together, added a working clock to it and there it was. Another thing that I had trouble with was the fact it took me forever just to get a clock. I eventually did get one, but it still took forever.
This is not my favorite piece, mostly because it is not the project that I wanted to do.I am still happy with the outcome though, just because the fact that i was able to give something to James mom, knowing that she would love it. This was probably my more thinking project, But definitely my easier to make project. It was still a fun project though because it still got me to think a lot more then i usually do.
